Principal's Message

As always, Term 3 has been a very busy term with many excursions and incursions. We are welcoming the warmer weather of Spring and enjoying the blossoms as our trees flower.
The term is finishing with the Years 3 – 6 swimming program. The children are really enjoying this activity. The final day of the program is on Friday 19th September. On Thursday 18th September children will need to wear long sleeves and long pants for their swimming safety session. A reminder note will be sent home next week.
On Thursday 2nd September our Community Hub members joined with members of the Springvale Rise Primary School Hub to take part in the Women’s Health Forum. It was a wonderful day and enabled those attending to be involved in a number of health focused activities. The women were also able to socialise and enjoy a delicious lunch. Thanks to our Hub leaders, Regina Moore and Julie Rasiti for all of their hard work organising this event.
Our school is waiting for further information from the Department of Education as to a start date for the rebuilding of our toilets and a separate building project to renovate part of the administration area of the school.
Have a wonderful week.
