Choose Your Own Adventure

It was so pleasing to see, and speak to, the number of families who were able to attend the 'Choose Your Own Adventure' afternoon on Wednesday.

There was a genuine buzz around the school and so many wonderful activities planned and implemented by teachers in all of the classrooms and specialist learning spaces. Stamps on the map were aplenty, as were students excitedly receiving Champion Chips.

Thank you to all the family members who supported the event and completed activities with the students, as well as enjoying the sausage sizzle, donuts and hot chocolate on offer. A huge thank you to all the staff who contributed to the planning and implementation of the event, which contributed to its huge success. 

Divisional Athletics

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the divisional athletics on Wednesday. Once again they all represented Albion North Primary School with pride and need to be congratulated for their efforts and behaviour. It is a wonderful effort to have made it to this level, and I am sure it was a rewarding experience for all the students.

Thank you to Mr Fairhead and Ms Haigh for attending, providing support and encouragement, as well as ensuring all students were prepared for their event/s. 

Glasses for Kids 

This is a final reminder that the Glasses for Kids staff, including trained optometrists, will be visiting our school on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th October to conduct initial vision screening of students from Foundation to Year 3 who have completed the consent form and questionnaire, either online or in paper format.

Registrations technically close tomorrow but they will accept registrations until early next week. This is a great opportunity to receive a free vision assessment for your child/ren and is highly recommended that as many children participate as possible.
