Evacuation Drill

On Tuesday afternoon we had an evacuation drill off site to Lloyd Reserve. This offsite drill helps us practise our emergency procedures in a real setting so that both students and staff are confident in what to do should an emergency ever occur. The students did a fantastic job walking calmly and sensibly to the reserve and staff ensured the process ran smoothly and safely. These drills are an important part of keeping our school prepared we even completed the whole process in under eight minutes.

When the Prep students returned, they wrote about their experience of the drill. It was wonderful to see them reflect on what they had learned and share their thoughts in writing. Here are some examples of their work.
