A huge congratulations to both Ryder Hird and Dougie Pengilley who were selected in Armidale Catholic Schools Cricket Team at the trials held in Moree last Friday. The boys will now head to Dubbo with the team to trial for selection in the Polding Cricket team to play at the NSWCPS Cricket Championships in Term 1 of 2026. We are super proud of your effort and dedication to your sport!
Just a quick reminder that all Diocesan shirts are needed to be washed and returned to school ASAP. We still have a number of shirts that are yet to be returned from our Soccer Gala Day at the end of last term. Students love getting the opportunity to wear these shirts and represent our school with pride, so there timely return is very much appreciated.

This term sport returns to Wednesdays only. In the first half of the term, students will be participating in school based tennis skills run by classroom teachers. From week 7, we will be heading over to the new Quirindi Aquatic Centre for swimming. These swimming sessions are focused on water confidence and familiarity. More information about these sessions will be detailed in upcoming newsletters.
Last week I advertised that we were intending on participating in the ACS Gala Touch Carnival to be held next Friday the 31st of October in Tamworth. Unfortunately due to low staffing options on that particular day, we have made the decision not to attend.

All information about Diocesan sports events is well communicated on the Armidale Catholic Schools Primary & Secondary Sport Facebook page. This includes postponements and event photos.
