Focus on Learning

Stage 1- Mrs Leisa Crane

Stage 1  students have been working hard to build independence in their writing. They have been exploring and trying to use Teir 2 and Teir 3 Vocabulary. They have also been focusing on ensuring star words are spelt correctly. Throughout the week we use openers and vocabularly words fro our monster to box to practice these skills.

During maths we have been focusing on mental strategies when adding and subtracting. This week we had a lot of fun with addition bingo.
