Year 12 PE Excursion to Federation University

On the second last day of term 2 our six, year 12 Physical Education students made the trip to Federation University in Ballarat to participate in laboratories relating to their year 12 course. Students got to explore the 18 million dollar upgraded facilities and use the vast array of equipment on offer at the University in the Sports Science Department. Staff discussed what university life was like we were given a brief tour. Students were placed into two groups and were challenged on their prior learning and understanding of the VCE Phys Ed curriculum that has been covered to this point of the year.

A valuable and enjoyable day was had, and we must thank our expert university lecturers in Ryan Worn and Matt O’Grady for running the day and for giving our students such a valuable opportunity.
