Inclusion & Diversity

On the 2nd of December, 9 Learning Leaders went to the Echuca East Recreation Reserve to celebrate The International Day of People with Disability. We had an amazing day meeting many new faces and participating in fun activities. We enjoyed ‘Silent Voices’ performances of sign language accompanied by some dance moves, and we even joined in! Our creativity was shown on the rock art table. After listening to the inspiring guest speaker Marty (who is living with disability) discuss the importance of leaders and leadership, we then celebrated with a sausage, drink and ice cream.
Another highlight was some of the Christmas ornaments that we purchased to display on our St. Mary’s Giving Tree in our front office. Thank you to Mrs. Chapman and Emma for taking us to the event.
