News and Information from Primary
All students from Kinder to Year 6 gathered in the Jiloa Centre to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime with this year’s featured book, Luna Roo. Our amazing library teacher, Mrs Scott, read the story aloud with great enthusiasm while the pages were displayed on our incredible large screen. It was a lovely opportunity for the whole school to connect through storytelling, and it was wonderful to see students so engaged and attentive.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, particularly connecting with the meaningful message within the book. Moments like these highlight the importance of reading not only for learning, but also for building imagination and empathy. We encourage all families to continue this at home—find opportunities to read together, whether it is sharing a story as a family or having each member enjoy their own book alongside one another. Developing a love of reading is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

This year's theme is... ‘WHOLEHEARTED’
What type of art... Picture or 3D?

The Rules:
We are excited to let families know about the upcoming after‑school Auskick and Superkick programs on Fridays from 5th June between 3-4pm, designed to be fun, inclusive, and perfect for students of all abilities.
Auskick is a program for children aged 4-6 and is an introduction to Australian Rules Football, teaching skills through fun activities and mini games.
Superkick is a program for children aged 7-12 wanting to get a feel for footy without the pressure. Superkick is the next step up from Auskick and provides the opportunity for students to continue to develop their skills in a fun and tackle free environment.
This 6‑week program by AFL will run after school on the school oval, giving students a great opportunity to build skills, make friends, and enjoy being active in a safe and supportive environment.
Please be aware that, while this program will take place on school premises, it is run independently by AFL Play. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's participation and safety with AFL Play.
