Dear SMPPS families
This is a bittersweet moment for me, but I want to say a final farewell to all at SMPPS. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with all the families, staff and children. You will be in my heart and I treasure the memories I will take with me.
Today at assembly (amid the tears) I shared an image of a big ship, and how shifting the direction one degree at a time can have a huge impact on the final destination. I hope the degree or two of difference I’ve made for hopefully as many of you as possible, will contribute to a positive future direction. You all certainly have done the same for me – I go with sadness but also excitement to my next opportunity which is a specialist setting (Avenues Education) which is a unique school working short term with children 1:1 and in small groups to support their mental health and wellbeing and to feel better about being at their schools.
So know that you have changed my life for the better and I wish all of you all the best for your next steps. I will miss you all and hope to visit.
With all my heart, Ms Wan
