A Place of Belonging
Winter sport commenced last Saturday, with our girls competing in QGSSSA Volleyball, Netball, Tennis and Hockey, while the boys continued their BBI Basketball competition. It is wonderful to see so many boarders involved in sport this term - a busy boarder is often a happy boarder.
Our Prep Program began for the term on Sunday evening. All boarders complete supervised prep in the Boarding House, supported by boarding staff and tutors, from Sunday to Thursday each week.
Supervised prep times are:
- Years 6 to 8: 6:30pm to 7:30pm – Dining Room
- Year 9: 6:30pm to 8:00pm – Dining Room
- Year 10: 6:30pm to 8:30pm – Dining Room
- Years 11 and 12: 6:30pm to 9:00pm (with optional extra time) – Own Room
Boarders are also encouraged to attend teacher-led school tutorials during lunch breaks and after school.
Please avoid contacting boarders during this important evening study time.
