State Basketball Selections

Congratulations to Zoe in Year 5 who was selected to play in the Victorian State Basketball Team. Zoe was selected through her Sabres representative team pathways and will play games against other states, over four days, in the upcoming school holidays. We wish her well.

District Athletics

During PE lessons, Year 3 - 6 students have been participating in Athletics activities to help them with their District Athletics Trials. They have all practiced long jump, high jump, 100m sprints, 400 and 800m runs, shot put and discus. We had many class conversations when students were inspired by the athletes at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. 

During Sport on Fridays, Year 3-6 students have been competing in individually chosen athletics events, in their year levels. Thank you to all students for giving the events your best efforts. The students who will represent St Mark’s School will be invited to training, during school hours and compete at the Mordialloc District Athletics on Thursday 3 September.
