A Message from the

A Prayer for Spring

Dear Lord,

Thank You for spring, the Season of Your expression of joy!

Let every bloom remind me of Your grace.

Let each sunny day bring light to my soul.

Let these months give birth to warm thoughts and kind gestures.

Amen

It has been a busy couple of weeks at St. Martha's with Kindergarten celebrating 100 days at school, pyjama day, book week activities and the Archbishop's visit all while we continue our regular learning and routines. Thank you for your support  in these activities which compliment our students day to day learning.

Archbishop Anthony Fisher's Visit

It was a great privilege to welcome Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP to our school as part of his recent Episcopal Visit to our parish.

The Archbishop spent time speaking with our students, meeting with our leadership team and celebrating Mass with our parish community.

Our students asked thoughtful and insightful questions, while our leadership team had the opportunity to share some of the wonderful work taking place across our school community.

Traffic Safety

Be Safe is one of our school expectations. The roads around our school are one of our biggest risks to the safety of students. Parents can assist us to keep all students safe by observing all traffic rules and keeping the safety of all firmly in mind. Parents are asked not to double park in Churchill Avenue and reminded not to turn into driveways to change direction. Children are often walking down the street and their safety is most important.

Warm Weather - Reminders

As the weather heats up children shed their jackets and often leave them where they took them off. Please ensure that your children's clothes are clearly labelled so that if they are left behind we can return them to the right owners. Many jackets purchased from the 2nd hand uniform shop still have the original owners names on them. Please also ensure your child has a water bottle and that it is clearly marked with their name. It is important to remain hydrated in the hot weather. Our lost property basket is often overflowing with jackets and bottles! Please label everything!
