2026 St Patrick’s Mass for Schools

On the 20/3/26 the St Mark’s School and Vice Captains, Fire Carriers and the Saints Club Leaders went to St Patrick’s Cathedral to attend the Mass with over three hundred different primary and secondary schools from all over Melbourne. Two students /school captains from each school walked down the aisle of St Patrick’s Cathedral with their school banners.

After the Mass we went to The Treasury Gardens and some of the secondary schools music bands performed on stage. There were a lot of activities to play, such as bocce, soccer, bean bag toss to AFL. After that we went on the train back to school feeling so tired!

Holy Week Celebrations

Holy Week anticipates the hope and glory of the resurrection of Christ at Easter, which is at the heart of the Christian Gospel and the centre of our Catholic faith.

The children have been working in collaboration with their peers and

teachers to prepare liturgies for the celebration of Holy Week in the final week of this term.

You are all warmly welcome to join us in our school’s celebration of Holy Week.

Saints Club (Social Justice) News-

Fundraising for Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion Appeal

Please see the information below regarding our fundraising actions to support this year’s Project Compassion Appeal for Caritas Australia.

This provides us with a wonderful opportunity to enact our school's Mercy Values, by supporting the work of Caritas Australia - a Catholic organisation that aims to work towards reducing poverty during this Season of Lent.

Money raised from this year's appeal will be used to support programs in different countries.

Further information about the work of Caritas Australia can be found at

https://www.caritas.org.au/about/what-is-caritas/

Thank you to our Saints Club for coordinating this opportunity and for your generosity to make a difference for those in need!

I would like to take this opportunity of wishing you all a happy and holy Easter,

and a safe and enjoyable holiday with your families and friends.
