Happy Campers!

Students from Prep, Year 5 and Year 6 recently took part in the Sacred Heart Camp Program, an important part of our school experience. The Sacred Heart camp program is built around developing independence, as students gradually build confidence, strengthen relationships with one another and learn to engage more deeply with the environment around them. Camps provide opportunities to use different settings and experiences to enrich and extend student learning.

Our Year 5 students travelled to Portsea where they participated in a range of outdoor activities that encouraged teamwork, resilience and independence.

Year 6 students attended Camp Campaspe, where they continued to develop leadership, collaboration and confidence through shared challenges and experiences.

Our Prep students began their first camp experience at school. They shared breakfast together, practised washing their dishes and brushed their teeth, learning important skills for independence while enjoying the excitement of doing these things as a community.

Across all year levels, the camp program helps students grow in confidence, strengthen friendships and develop important life skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
