All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.

It was great to see a sea of green celebrating St Patrick's Day on the 17th. Students are learning about St Patrick and are trying to emulate some of his characteristics like being brave, persistent, generous of spirit and spreading the word of God through their actions. Our St Patrick's Wall reflects many of his qualities that the students admire and want to follow.

Thank you also to Jude McGuinness and his family for donating the amazing balloon garland.

Students  brought home a wooden shamrock for families to decorate. Please return these by Friday 27th March for a school display.

On the weekend, our beautiful Yr 4 students made their commitment to journey towards receiving the Sacrament of  First Eucharist.  These children began their journey towards the Sacrament of Eucharist when they were baptised.  Now they are beginning their  Eucharist preparation where they will receive the Body of Christ so they can participate fully in our Catholic Faith. May we, as their family, teachers and friends, give them our continuing support and encouragement.

On Sunday, our parish community will be celebrating an important moment in the life of our parish as Fr Michael is formally installed as the Parish Priest.

This special rite will take place during the 11:00am Parish Mass at St Brigid’s Church on Sunday 22 March. The Installation Mass is a significant occasion for our parish, marking the formal beginning of Fr Michael’s ministry as our parish priest.

Following the Mass, all are warmly invited to stay and share light refreshments at a parishioner welcome luncheon in the parish grounds.

We warmly encourage members of the St Louis school community to attend if they are able and join us in welcoming Fr Michael to our parish.
