Message from the Principal
St Peter’s School - an empowered faith community to enrich the world.
Welcome to Term 2! How fortunate to be still enjoying warm weather. I hope you are all able to get outside while it lasts!
We had a fabulous Staff Faith Formation day to commence the term last week. We attended mass and then analysed the Gospel of the day and related it to our mission as staff in a Catholic primary school. We defined what being 'eucharistic people' means to us and how we can bring the story of Jesus alive for our students. Thank you to Iris Devisser for coordinating and all staff for their enthusiastic participation.
We concluded the week with a solemn liturgy to mark ANZAC Day. Thank to you Simon Tran and 5/6T for leading us in prayer.
Please read the pages entitled Wellbeing- Cyber Safety for important information regarding an exciting initiative we are implementing at St Peter's - The Cyber Safety Project program.
Please read the P&F page for details of our major fundraiser for the year. We ask all families to suport this event as we raise funds to upgrade the playground at the rear of the school.

You will see that great progress has been made on the building project. It is very exciting as we get closer to our August finish date.
As part of the next stage, work will move to the outside spaces.
From Monday 4 May access into the school through the Mary St gates will lead from the gate directly into the undercover area. There will be a pathway for access only. The top part of the playground will be closed as landscape works will commence.
All other areas of the school will continue as normal.
We are very excited to see this progress!
This week we welcomed Kaitlyn Hawkins to Foundation for Term 2 as Emily Rumble takes extended leave. I know you will provide a warm St Peter's welcome when you see her around the school.
We also welcome Carmelina Maiolo as a Learning Support Officer. Carmelina will be working across the school Wednesday - Friday.
