Foundation News Term 1

It has been a busy term in Foundation. We have been growing in independence, making new friends and navigating our way around the playground. 

We have been practising counting forwards and backwards, playing counting games and counting lots of things like teddies, gems, animals, icypole sticks and lego. We have also been creating lots of amazing repeating patterns. 

We have read stories and have been using colourful semantics to talk about WHO is in the story, WHERE it is set and WHAT is happening in the story.

Some of our favourite things about school so far have been playing the hoop game in P.E, making new friends and lunchtime! We also loved finally meeting our grade 6 buddies. We found out lots of cool things about each other and ate our lunch together.
