Principal's Report
Dear Families,
ANZAC DAY CEREMONY
On Friday our Grade 6 students led an ANZAC Day service. It was fantastic to have all our students involved in this special event.
The Lions Club of Toolamba hosted the 2026 ANZAC Day Service on Saturday, 25 April. Community members came together to honour and remember those who have served. Chad Baker the guest speaker gave a moving a moving recount that paid tribute to the men and women who have served, highlighting the conflicts in which they have participated and the sacrifices they have made. Our School Captains represented the school proudly, reading a poem with confidence. They also laid a wreath on behalf of the school as a sign of respect and gratitude.

MOTHER'S DAY STALL
The Parents and Friends are running their Mother's Day Stall at school on Wednesday 6th May. This is a fundraising event that the children love attending, to buy their Mums, Grandmothers or those special to them, a gift for Mother's Day. The P&F are asking for donations to sell at the stall. Donations may include craft, plants, earrings etc. If you are able to, please place your donations in the basket in the foyer.
P & F would also appreciate some helpers for the stall from 9-10am. Please contact Ciara or Bree in the office to put your name down.
EFTPOS and cash are available. Please send along cash/card in a ziploack bag or wallet.
WHOLE SCHOOL EXCURSION
Next Friday 8th May, we will be heading to the Melbourne Zoo for our whole school excursion. Students will enjoy walking around the zoo exploring the exhibitions as well as participating in an education session. Students and parents travelling on the bus will be required to be at school by 7:15am for a 7:30am departure. We expect to arrive home approximately 4:30pm.
There will be no OHSC program in the morning. If students require care on their return from the zoo, please contact Bree or speak to Sarah or Micaela in OHSC.
OPEN DAYS
On Tuesday 5th and 12th May, we will be having our Open Days. Interested people are welcome to book a tour online via the Survey Monkey Link or contact the school to register.

ANNUAL REPORT
Our Annual Report has passed the quality assurance process and has now been uploaded to our website. Copies are also available at the office for interested people.
CURRICULUM DAY
Monday 4th May is a Curriculum Day. There will be no school for students on this day. The teachers will be having a Professional Development day with our focus area being Spelling.
