Junior Boys Volleyball Results

This term our Year 7 and 8 boys represented VUSC in Volleyball at Copperfield Sydenham.

Year 8 Boys Results:

VUSC vs Sunshine 2 - 0

VUSC vs Gilson 2 - 0

VUSC vs Copperfield 0 - 2 

The year 8 boys were so close to the finals but lost the 2nd set to Copperfield in the tie breaker 23 - 21.

Year 7 Boys Results: 

VUSC vs Sunshine 2 - 0

VUSC vs Gilson College 2 - 0

VUSC vs Copperfield 2 - 0

Finals: VUSC vs SASC 2 - 0

With their undefeated streak the Year 7 Boys will be moving onward to the Western Metropolitan finals in Geelong! Well done to all these students for Aspiring to Achieve!

Victorian Rugby Representatives

Congratulations to Israel Leuga 9C (right) and Jesse Mika 8E who were named in the 2024 Victorian U14 Rugby Union Squad last month! 

The boys travelled to the Southern States Championship in Adelaide on July 9-10. The Southern States Junior Championship brings together the best young players from non-traditional and emerging Member Unions for a four-day tournament.

Congratulations to the Victorian U14 team who won their Grand Final against the South Australian team 81 - 0!! Well done boys!!

Congratulations also to Lasela Anitelea 8A who was named in the 2024 Victorian Girls U14 Rugby Union Squad in Adelaide as well!
