Book Week Update – Term 3
Book Week will be celebrated in Week 7 of Term 3, and we are looking forward to a week full of reading and literary fun!
This year, we will not be holding a dress-up day for Book Week, so you can safely put away the sewing machines and costume plans!
We are excited to announce that we will be welcoming visiting authors during Book Week. More information about these special guests will be shared at the beginning of Term 3.
Book Week Competition: Design a New Book Cover!
As a holiday activity, students are invited to enter our Book Week competition by redesigning the front cover of their favourite book.
A reminder that students are not creating a new book – it is creating a new cover for an existing book.
Competition Guidelines:
- The design must be the student's own original work.
- Please, no help from parents or other family members.
- Entries may be completed on A4 or A3 paper.
- Completed entries can be handed in to the library at any time up until the beginning of Week 7, Term 3.
Prizes will be awarded for the best entry in each year level.
We can't wait to see the creativity and imagination of our students on display!
Library Donation
Thank you to the Mirza family for your generous book donations to our library.
If you have any books in good condition the library would be most grateful for your donations.
New Uniform Item Available
We are pleased to introduce a new uniform item, now available for purchase through our uniform shop on Qkr! – the Navy Tunic, priced at $46.
The Navy Tunic is designed to be worn with either the school-logo short sleeve or long sleeve polo underneath. Students may wear navy tights or plain white socks with the tunic, making it a practical and comfortable option for the cooler months.
As the weather continues to cool, we would also like to remind families that navy beanies are available for purchase. Please note that only plain navy beanies are permitted as part of the school uniform.
