Stage 6 PDHPE

Stage 6 PDHPE are currently studying the HSC Unit Factors Affecting Performance. Mrs Donohoe came and spoke to the students about her marathon running. It was fabulous to hear all about her achievements and learn about the content in practice - Types of Training and Training Methods, Psychology and Nutrition. We look forward to hearing how she goes at the Gold Coast Marathon the first weekend of the school holidays. Thanks Mrs D!

Well done Felicity

Year 12 student Felicity competed at the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships in May in Sydney winning silver in the 800 and 1500 Freestyle and Bronze in the 400 Freestyle. She has now been successful in gaining selection to swim 400m Freestyle in the NSW All Schools Swimming Team to compete at the All Schools National Swimming Championships in July in Brisbane. Congratulations Felicity!!

Stage 6 Camp

Our Stage 6 students had an amazing time on their CYC Adventure Camp, paddling from Paradise Point over to South Stradbroke Island. So much fun working together to canoe the broadwater, set up tents and explore the island. They also enjoyed time together at SeaWorld on the way back. God's glorious creation on full display!

Stage 3 Canberra Excursion

Our Year 5 & 6 students enjoyed an action packed visit to the snow at Corin Forest, Cockington Green Gardens and the National Dinosaur Museum and Questacon. Their trip continued with visiting The Museum of Australian Democracy, The National Electoral Education Centre, Australian War Memorial, Australian Institute of Sport, Zone Bowling and Mount Ainslie lookout. What an amazing excursion!

Year 3 & 4 Excursion

Our Year 3 & 4 students recently enjoyed an excursion to the Ballina Maritime & Naval Museum as part of their integrated unit for Term 2 exploring changing communities over time.
