Bullying No Way Week
Last week, St Brigid’s joined schools across the nation to recognise Bullying No Way Week—Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative for schools. This week provided a valuable opportunity for us to build a shared understanding of bullying behaviours and highlight prevention strategies.
Students participated in activities that reminded us that actions don’t need to be big to change someone’s world. Small gestures—such as including others, speaking up, or showing kindness—can make a powerful difference.
Our ongoing goal is to continue to create an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, diversity is celebrated, and bullying is not accepted.

RUOK Day
On Thursday, 10 September, our school will participate in R U OK? Day. This important national day of action reminds us all that any day is the perfect day to check in on our friends, classmates, and family members. To mark the occasion, we invite all students to wear a touch of yellow with their uniform on the day. Yellow represents optimism, warmth, and the bright energy of looking out for one another. During the day, our students will also participate in a hub activity.
With thanks
