Vinnies Christmas Card Competition:

Calling All Creative Young Artists! 🎄✨

Get ready to spread Christmas cheer with your artistic talents! The Vinnies Youth NSW Christmas Card Competition is here, and we’re looking for five stunning designs to become the official 2025 Vinnies NSW Member Christmas Cards.

🌟 What’s in it for you?

• Your design professionally printed and shared across NSW.

• A Vinnies Prize Pack to celebrate your win.

🎨 Who can join?Young artists across NSW—any medium is welcome! Draw, paint, craft, or go digital. Just make sure it’s your original creation.

Start creating your Christmas Card and hand it in to Mrs Scott as soon as possible—entries close Monday, 2nd December 2025.

Donations for St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper

The St Vincent de Paul Society does a lot of great work assisting people and families in need in our local community. One of the things they do each year is provide families in need a helping hand at Christmas time with a food hamper. As we come closer to Christmas, we are looking to share the joy of Christmas with families and support the work of St Vincent de Paul by collecting food for the creation of Christmas Hampers in our local area. 

Please help us to make Christmas a special time for all, by donating nonperishable foods that families can enjoy over the Christmas season. These may include festive foods such as Christmas puddings, candy canes, salsa, chips, biscuits, chocolates and lollies…as well as foods that families can use to create a meal such as flour, sugar, pasta, rice, tins of soup, jelly, powdered custard and gravy… and long life juices and soft drinks…  

Please send in all donations by Friday 5 December, so that Vinnies have a chance to package and deliver them before Christmas.

Remembrance Day

Tuesday 11 November is Remembrance Day. Representatives from our school will attend Manilla’s Remembrance Day Ceremony, while the remainder of our school community will have a liturgy to stop, remember, commemorate and pray for the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice of their lives in war. Their sacrifice means that we in Australia enjoy many freedoms. We value peace in our country and continue to work together for peace in our world. For those brave men and women who have died: We will remember them. Lest we forget.

Connecting With Our Parish

Parish Christmas Lunch

St Michael’s Parish Christmas Lunch will be held on Saturday 22nd November at the Royal Hotel commencing at 1 pm. If you would like to attend please RSVP via email to Amanda Scott amcleod@arm.catholic.edu.au .

1st Sunday of the month - Sunday 8.30am

2nd, 3rd & 4th Sunday of the month - Saturday 5.00pm (5.30pm DST)

          Attunga Mass Times 

2nd, 4th & 5th Sunday of the month - Sunday 12 noon

If You Would Like To Be Involved

We encourage all of our families to be involved in the life of the Parish. There are many ways to be involved including:

• Altar Serving for those who have made their first Holy Communion

• Reading at Mass

• Taking up the Offertory Procession

• Visitations

• Odd Jobs

Legends of the Light Shine 

Our new Legends of the Light Shine focus for Weeks 5 and 6 of Term 4 is  “Hope”. This focus encourages us all to look forward to good things coming our way.

We encourage our students to be stewards of creation in their actions.
