Manningham Division Softball Final:
On Thursday 16th October the Boys Softball Team played in the Manningham Division Softball Final against Doncaster Gardens PS. The boys played extremely well and showed some terrific batting and fielding skills throughout the game. The boys won the game 27 – 13 and will now compete at EMR Softball on Monday 10th November @ Waverley Softball Centre. Good luck to the boys and we look forward to hearing how you go.
Yr 5 & 6 Camp @ Waratah Beach Camp
During the week of Monday 20th – Friday 24th October our Yr. 5 & 6 students attended their annual camp at Waratah Beach Camp. The students had an excellent 3 days of camp, took on many challenges, were risk takers and grew as individuals throughout their time away. It was terrific to see many students surf for the first time, which I must say was a real highlight for so many students. Hopefully, this is something many of them will pursue in the future.
Experiences like this would not be possible without the support of many people, so a huge thanks goes to the Yr. 5 & 6 teachers, Penny McNaughton and all the Yr. 5 & 6 Parent Helpers who attended throughout the week. Thanks again to everyone for their support and making the week run so smoothly.
If you have any further questions about our program, please don’t hesitate to contact James Will or Emily Collins.
