STEM Expo Success

On Tuesday 15th September, St Brigid's sent two teams to the STEM Expo run by St Joseph's, Crib Point. It was a fabulous day, meeting students from other schools and sharing ideas. There was time to stand at our booth and present our designs to students, teachers and the judges, as well as time to walk around and see what other schools had created, plus a STEM Challenge to take part in.

We are thrilled to announce that Asher and Eva's invention and prototype, "Forget No More", an earpiece reminder designed for people living with dementia, won the Making a Difference Award, presented by Paul Mercurio. This award recognises the project judged to make the biggest difference, celebrating a submission that shows how STEM can be used to solve real problems, help others, or improve our world in a meaningful way.

We are so proud of this well-deserved achievement, and we celebrate both of our teams for their hard work leading up to the STEM Expo. Well done Asher, Eva, Matthew and Jasper.

Blessing of the Pets - St Louis de Monforts Church

There will be a Blessing of Pets/Animals at 9 am on Saturday, 3rd October, in the front yard of St Louis School. We hope you can join us!
