Kitchen Garden

As part of our Kitchen Garden program, the Year 3 & 4 students have been busy in the kitchen making Anzac Slice! Students discussed the tradition and history behind Anzac biscuits before putting their cooking skills to work and creating a modified version of the traditional recipe.

A key focus of the lesson was accurate measuring, with students carefully measuring and combining each ingredient to achieve the right consistency. With just a handful of simple ingredients, students created a delicious Anzac Slice that was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
