We finished off the term with our boats and how they floated. All boats were put in water and all floated. We discussed what materials were used for the boats to float and the if the boats moved or stayed still.

The 1/2s finished off the term with some STEM experiments making christmas decorations. The students explored different materials and how they would stick to each other and be able to be on display. Some items didn't work and stuck to the newspaper protecting the table or they didn't have enough glue to stick together.

SAKG

Our beautiful chickens are growing strong and very big. Chicky the only chicken to hatch is nearly as big as the donated chickens. None of them have made any noises and we are hoping that they are not roosters.

Wicking Garden Beds

We are extremely grateful to the Rotary Club of Wheelers Hill for their generous donation of three new wicking beds for our beautiful garden. Two beds have already been completed, with the final one to be built over the holidays. These water-saving beds will be a valuable and sustainable addition to our garden for years to come.
