State Sports trials

State Team Trials – Parent Information

School Sport Victoria (SSV) Team Vic trials are now open for selected sports. The Team Vic program provides a pathway for Victoria’s emerging student athletes to compete at the School Sport Australia Championships and is designed for students already performing at an advanced representative level.

Only three students per sport can be nominated, and we generally recommend that students be in Year 6 before considering trialling. Families are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility standards before applying, as trials are highly competitive and not intended as a developmental experience.
