Year 3 Community

Year 3 students have been getting to grips with angles! We’ve explored angles as measures of turn, practising quarter, half, three-quarter and full turns. Students made their own right-angle testers using paper to help them become angle detectives. We’ve been busy spotting and sorting angles into three groups: acute, right and obtuse. From investigating shapes to taking on angle challenges, students have been discovering that angles are everywhere! Keep an eye out for some angle spotting at home.
