Over the past two weeks, the SRC have been recognising Thank a First Responder Day. SRC members wrote thank you cards and got classes to discuss what a first responder is and why they are important.

Sports News
Congratulations to Ben Carter, who participated in the SAPSASA Australian football State Carnival at West Beach from 25th-27th May. Ben represented the Hills District team playing at full forward or centre half forward. During the competition he played nine matches and his team were undefeated in all games, winning the division four competition. Well done to Ben and his team members on a successful tournament.
Well done to Jemima Staniford and Kobe Sloan who represented the Hills District at the State Cross Country Championships at Oakbank racecourse. Both students did extremely well, with Jemima finishing 49 out of 161 students in a time of 14 minutes 19 seconds. Kobe came 50th out of 180 students in a time of 12 minutes and 23 seconds. Well done on a fantastic effort.
