Reconciliation Week
Yesterday marked the end of Reconciliation Week and we have embraced the opportunity to celebrate this important occasion throughout St Paul. If you travel through our corridor, you will notice our Reconciliation Week display which documents a snapshot of learning from across our community, showing how children have engaged with this year’s Reconciliation Week theme of “All In.” We thank our teachers, staff and our community for their support in marking this occasion and encourage anyone who hasn’t seen our display to have a look next time you are here.
Reminder: Public Holiday on Monday
On Monday next week (June 8), Australia observes the King’s Birthday Public Holiday and as such, the school and SPLASH will not be open. We hope this is a time of connection and renewal for your family and look forward to welcoming you back on Tuesday, June 9.
Reminder: Early arrivals
We have been noticing an increase in early arrivals at school, with a number of children being dropped off by parents and waiting outside the front office, unsupervised, until the doors are opened at 8:30am. Parents are reminded that this area is not supervised until 8:30am and as such, for safety reasons, children cannot arrive at school prior to this time. If children are unsupervised in this area before the school opens, they will be taken to SPLASH for supervision, which has an additional cost that will be charged.
