This Sunday is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ - Corpus Christi - which is a major Catholic festival celebrating the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. This connects beautifully with the Grade 4s as they begin their journey towards their First Eucharist. 

This Friday on the 12th of June, the school will attend Mass at 9.30am to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and his deep and unconditional love for us. Everyone is welcome!

A recently canonised saint who was well known for his immense love for Jesus and evangelised that Jesus is well and truly alive in the Eucharist is St Carlo Acutis. He is living proof that you can wear sneakers and jeans and still be a saint! One of his most famous quotes is “The Eucharist is my highway to heaven.” What a wonderful role model for us as we are ‘called to be saints.’
