Student Learning

Foundation
Foundation students explored the concept of capacity by investigating and comparing different containers, using sand to discover which held more and which held less. Through hands-on learning, they developed their understanding of measurement while making predictions and sharing their observations.

Our grade 3/4 students enjoying some sunshine while taking part in Skillzone activities.
Year 5/6
Last Friday our Year 5/6 students enjoyed sharing their information reports. There was a range of topics from Gallipoli to the Vietnam war, Kokoda trail, Afghanistan war, Convicts, Women’s Rights and the Gold Rush, with lots of new information learnt. The students’ posters were thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented.
Despite the rainy weather, our Grade 5/6 students had a fantastic time taking part in a range of team-building activities indoors. Students worked together during challenges such as Tallest Tower and Go Go Stop, showing great communication, teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, working cooperatively and having plenty of fun throughout the session.
