School Clay Target Championship

On Thursday, 14th August saw five members from our school participate in the North East Zone School Student Clay Target Championship held in Echuca. The day consisted of a 20 Targets single barrel event which emphasis around firearms safety and handling. 

The boys were Darcey Pump, Logan West, Cohen Traill, Cooper Jenkins and Taylor Murray, who all conducted themselves in a professional manner though out the day that left the school, parents, V.C.T.A and spectators all proud. 

Congratulations also to Logan West who this year won the overall Championship High Gun award where he participated in a shoot off for 1st, winning with an overall score of 23/25 Targets.

He also now progresses to the next level and will participate for the State School Championship also to be held in Echuca on 1st September.

The boys should all be proud of their effort as they also finished in 2nd place behind Echuca in the team event.
