Senior Girls Netball

We’re super proud of our Senior Girls Netball team, who had a successful day at the Victorian Schools Netball Championships in Hamilton last week. The team won all of their matches and will now compete at the state finals in September.  Amazing effort!

St Brigid’s College recorded strong victories against Bainbridge, Casterton, Portland, and Heywood College, along with hard fought wins against Monivae and Hamilton College. The Monivae match was particularly memorable, with scores tied at half time. Our players lifted their intensity in the second half, producing a dominant finish. Carrying that momentum into the Hamilton College game, the team maintained their pace and determination, taking an early lead and closing with an 11–2 win. It was a fantastic team effort, and all players should be proud of their contribution.

A special thank you to parent volunteers, Venetta Taylor, for running a valuable coaching session with the team, and to Rebecca Hudson for her support with scoring and sideline coaching on the day.
