The science behind starting music lessons in your child's early years

Learning music at a young age enhances the sensory processing function which is  vital to brain development. Neuroscience in music education research findings have shown that early exposure to music - even a few years of music lessons can result in lasting benefits. It improves language and communication abilities as it enhances the brain's auditory processing.   It is interesting to note that music learning is the most direct way to enhance our brain's auditory processing. Read more in the attached article below. A music-rich experience for children  ie listening, singing and moving does a lot to the brain as the children progress to more formal learning.

MUSIC IS FUN course

Music is Fun program for pre-schoolers is great in laying the  foundation in music. It will continue to develop your child's sense of beat from Jungle Music. Watch your child start to sing, tap, move and play the keyboard!

As it is my hope to see many children  experience the benefits of learning music at a young age, a sibling of existing students will receive a 10% discount off their  term invoice if he or she is enrolled for a whole term of "Music is Fun" or "Jungle Music" lessons.   This promotion is now on until 16 October.
