From the Principal

I am pleased to announce that Mrs Bullen has been officially appointed as the Assistant Principal of POPS. I'm confident that you'll join me in congratulating Mrs Bullen and recognising her outstanding leadership and dedication during her time as the Acting Assistant Principal this year. I am looking forward to collaborating with Mrs Bullen as we guide the school forward into the future.

POPS Camping Programs

This week marks the conclusion of our camping programs. Our Year 3 students are currently enjoying their very first overnight camp at Candlebark Farm, and according to all reports, they are having a fantastic time. 

Yesterday, we held a camp day for our Foundation to Year 2 students, and there was a sense of happiness throughout the school. Our Foundation students had a memorable day; they constructed bush tents for their teddy bears, had a special lunch, and later in the afternoon, they settled into their sleeping bags to watch a movie. As for our Year 1 and Year 2 students, they had an equally wonderful day filled with a variety of activities, a talent show, and a BBQ dinner. 

We would like to acknowledge the dedicated efforts of our staff, along with the invaluable support of our parent helpers and community members. Without them, none of these camping events would be possible.

I want to express my gratitude to every member of our community for their support of our students, staff, and one another. This term has been filled with numerous exciting opportunities for our students. As we approach the break, I extend my best wishes to all of you for a joyful and rejuvenating time off. May you have the chance to enjoy some quality family moments during this break.

Friday 15 September is last day of school before the Term 3 holiday break. Assembly will be at 2pm in the Gym and students will be dismissed at 2:30pm. Students return to school Monday October 2nd.
