                                      Carols Choir

Our Carols Choir have begun rehearsing in preparation to sing at Carols by Candlelight and to visit the residents of Moyola and Parkvilla; as well as perform at Christmas Eve Mass. 

Carols by Candlelight is a community event held at Mactier Park, next Wednesday 10th December. Students wear school uniform and may also wear something Christmassy. Students attend with their family. Carols commence at 7pm.

Moyola and Parkvilla visits, Tuesday 9th & Wednesday 10th at 10:30am (leaving school at 10:15am)

This year students may also participate in two workshops run by Charlotte Goode and Matt Duffy from Opera in the Country, in preparation to sing at the Carols before and during Christmas Eve Mass. Sacred Heart Church, 5:30pm 24th December.

The workshops will occur on Thursday 4th and Friday 5th December. The choir will perform at assembly on Friday 5th at 2:40pm. 

They will be invited to perform with Charlotte at the Christmas Eve Mass. Students will be allocated solo/duo parts for the mass if they are able to attend.

Students attend Mass with their family.

Information and a consent form were sent home last week. 

Please contact Karen Nihill if your child wishes to participate and did not receive one.                               

                  URGENT  - Carpark Safety Reminder

Please remember when using the parish carpark:

1 - Reverse into parking bays.

2 - Exit Car  - please collect your child from grass area in front of St Mary's Hall 

      (students should not meet you in the car)

3 - Parents - Always monitor children in the car park area.

4 - When leaving the school with your children please exit promptly from the carpark

     (It is a hazardous place for children to play if you are talking with another parent)

5 - Please exit car park slowly and cautiously keeping watch for children.

Volunteers

At Sacred Heart we value the support of volunteers. Over your child/ren’s journey through Primary School there are many opportunities to volunteer and support your child and the school. Please visit the volunteer page on the school website for further information.

Lunch Orders

Tatura Hot Bread Bakery will be providing the School lunch orders for two days a week. Lunch orders will be available Thursdays and Fridays. Please find below the 2025 price list. 

A reminder orders are to be done through the School, not to be dropped off at the Bakery.

Second Hand Uniform Sales

Sacred Heart will now only be accepting second hand uniform items as a donation to the school. If families wish to sell items we request that this is done privately. Please see below the current uniform stock available for purchase. If you wish to have a browse of the uniforms or make a purchase, please see Ros in the school office on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Lost Property

Is your child missing their School Windcheater?

We currently have many named jumpers in our lost property. Pop into the office to collect.
