🌟 Introducing Our Good News Page! 💚💛

We are excited to introduce a new feature in our school newsletter — our Good News Page! 🎉 This is a space to celebrate the wonderful achievements, special moments and feel-good stories from our Modbury School P-6 community. We would love families to share their good news with us so we can celebrate and shine a light on the amazing things happening both in and beyond our school.

To kick things off, we are delighted to share a special good news story about Harper, one of our amazing Modbury learners! 🌟 Well done, Harper — we are so proud of you!

💗 Harper’s Hair-Raising Act of Kindness – Making a Difference, One Strand at a Time! 

We’re very proud to share that Harper has made her second hair donation to help create a wig for a child with cancer. 💗

For the past three years, Harper has been growing her hair with the goal of being able to donate it again. Today, she had 30cm of her hair cut off, which she is donating to the Kids with Cancer Foundation to help make a wig for a child going through cancer treatment.

What makes this achievement even more special is that Harper’s hairdresser, Nikita, is also a fellow Modbury School parent, making it a lovely connection within our school community.

Harper is so proud to have been able to use something she has grown herself to help brighten another child’s life. We are incredibly proud of her kindness, commitment and generosity. 💕- Madolyn, Harpers Mother
