Administration News

Dear Parents,
Please see the below information in regards to some administration requirements for the 2026 School Year. Please ensure these things are actioned for the beginning of Term One.
Medical Policies and Forms 2026
MACS (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools) have issued new policies and guidelines for schools to follow in regards to medical administration within Catholic Schools. Please note it is now a requirement that all medication even over the counter medicine has to have a form completed by a Medical Practitioner or a Pharmacist. All Medication must be presented to the school in its original packaging. Please find the forms attached here for completion over the holidays, these need to be done alongside any asthma management plans and or anaphylaxis plans and any other medication required to be administered at school (including any antihistamines or antibiotics).
Please ensure the Medical Management Plan and Medication Authority as well as a Anaphylaxis and or Asthma plan (if applicable) have been completed and returned to me via: office@smhampton.catholic.edu.au as well as uploaded to the Medical Section of your child's nForma app.
nForma
We are now well into using the new nForma Parent App, there are still a number of parents who are yet to update all the relevant details on the parent portal. This needs to be completed prior to the start of 2026 year please and make sure all relevant medical information is uploaded to the portal.
Updating Student absences via the App, is a quick and easy way to update your child's absence from school, which updates the class roll automatically, and eliminates the need to call the office. If all parents could really aim to be doing this in 2026 that would be extremely helpful.
All first aid incidents are now being recorded via the app and will continue to be in 2026. All incidents will be sent with a notification to let parents know, if your child has had an injury during the day at school.
