Year 4

Every now and then we take the opportunity to highlight a piece of work that a student feels proud of. Here is a writing task from one of our Year 4 students - 

'As Year 4 begins their new writing unit on information texts in relation to space, students were given an opportunity to engage in free choice writing. This writing piece was inspired by a picture prompt of an astronaut in space. The focus of this lesson was around why author’s write: to persuade, inform or entertain their reader and exploring new types of writing. 

For the task, Will M from 4AM chose to entertain his reader in the form of a list poem where he was able to showcase his creativity, humour and artistic strengths.'
