Remembrance Day
Primary School Liturgy
On Tuesday, 11 November, our primary school community gathered in prayer for a Remembrance Day Liturgy, honouring the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country in times of war and peace.
The liturgy was led by our Year 6 students who shared readings, prayers of the faithful, and reflections. We observed a minute’s silence following The Last Post. This moment of stillness allowed us to remember, in our hearts, all who have suffered through war and conflict.
As a Catholic community, we pray that we may continue to be instruments of peace in our world and carry forward the spirit of remembrance in our daily lives.
Lest we forget.
Secondary School Liturgy
The Secondary School gathered in prayer to mark Remembrance Day, honouring the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, our country in times of war and peace.
The liturgy was reverent and moving, with students leading prayers, readings, and reflections that reminded us of the importance of peace and gratitude. We took time to remember in our hearts all who have suffered through war and conflict.
As a Catholic community, we pray that we may continue to be instruments of peace and carry forward the spirit of remembrance in our daily lives.
KINDER COMING TO ST ANNE'S COLLEGE!
We are so excited funding has been announced for two new kinder rooms at our college, opening in 2029!
Minister for Children Lizzie Blandthorn made the announcement in Bendigo last week which was attended by Principal Mr Butts. We are very grateful for the funding from the Victorian Government's Building Blocks Partnership.
We can't wait for works to begin and we look forward to sharing more about this exciting addition for St Anne's College!
