Learning Snapshot- Maths
Join us for our next Learning Snapshot, Tuesday 1st September 8:45am in the LRC (Library), exploring how families can support mathematical thinking at home. We'll explore what true fluency means (efficiency, accuracy, flexibility—not speed), and why strong number facts free the brain for reasoning. Practical strategies include talking about maths through open questions, spotting maths in everyday activities like cooking and shopping, and age-appropriate ideas for both younger and older students, including games that build fluency.
