Junior School Event

Responsible Pet Ownership Incursion
On Monday, our Junior School students had a fantastic time learning about responsible pet ownership and how to stay safe around dogs. Pam and her lovely dog, Zaria, helped make the session fun and engaging as students learnt important safety skills.
Students explored when dogs should be left alone, how to recognise when a dog is happy, frightened or angry, and the safe way to approach and greet a dog. They also learnt what to do if they are approached by an unknown or aggressive dog.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to build their confidence and develop important skills for staying safe and responsible around dogs.
A big thank you to Pam and Zaria for helping us learn so much!
