Mother's and Special Persons Day Stall - Term 2

Such a special day for such special people in our lives - time slots are still available on our Volunteer list for this Term 2 tradition that honours just some of the people in our village who help our little legends grow and thrive. If you or someone you know wants to lend a hand to bring this event to life, you can sign up here.  

Gift preparation for the stall has already started, but now we need some additional hands to help with gift packing, set up, providing valuable advice to our very keen shoppers and pack down.  By giving a little of your time, you're helping create a moment of joy for our students that they then get to share with the special people that keep their world turning - worth every minute.  

Footscray West Writers Festival - Second Hand Book Stall

Thank you to all those who donated their books and time to the second hand book stall over the weekend. It was amazing to see so many people from the FWPS village stopping by and helping us bring this idea to life. A very big thank you in particular to Rebecca Mackey, Jessica Cork, Naomi Finlay, Amelia Finlay and the Caputo Family - Michael, Vi, Mai and Marco for sorting, setting up and selling the large array of books and the very beautifully handmade cards and bookmarks from our FWPS students. The stall managed to raise approximately $600 which will go towards our fundraising goal for the year and be utilised to give the gazebo area a bit of a glow up.  

Second Hand Uniform Stall

A very big thank you to Eleni Kakoulidou for assisting with the uniform shop last week which managed approximately $280 in sales, another contribution to our fundraising goal for the year and a great way to help our community reduce the cost of uniforms while saving the planet!

Term 2 Awaits

As we step out of the last week of Term 1 and into the Easter Break we have a lot on the to-do list for the remainder of the year that we look forward to sharing with you. We appreciate that we would be lost without the support of our incredibly amazing village of FWPS families, students, friends, carers, educators and staff (with a special mention to the medium oat milk lattes that also get us through each day).  Enjoy the holiday break and stay safe, we can't wait to see you in Term 2.
