K-2 Mother's Day Liturgy
Kindergarten - The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Our Kindergarten students have been enjoying the classic story The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle! Inspired by the hungry caterpillar, the children imagined that he wrote them a letter asking what they would like to eat. They responded with their own creative writing, sharing all sorts of delicious ideas. To celebrate their beautiful work, students were treated to a cupcake — a sweet reward for their fantastic efforts!
Year 1 - Learning Spotlight
In our writing unit we have been learning about how the real and imagined worlds are used to create texts through text structure, words and images. The Year 1 students did some fact finding through watching a video and writing down some interesting facts. These facts will be used to create their own fictional character based on ant facts.
K-2 Easter Hat Parade
Our K-2 Easter Hat Parade held on 1st April was a sea of glitter, feathers, and massive smiles! From towering bunny ears to creative nests, our K-2 students truly shined on the runway. A massive thank you to the parents and carers who joined us. Your cheers and support made the morning so special—and a big shout-out to everyone who helped glue, staple, and glitter those masterpieces together!
