Student Representative Council Fortnightly News
The SRC would like to take a moment to express how much we enjoyed Book Week 2024! The theme, "Reading is Magic," truly came to life throughout the week. The activities were engaging, and it was wonderful to see students so excited about reading.
Dress-Up Day on Friday was a particular highlight. The creativity displayed in the costumes was fantastic, and it was clear that everyone had a lot of fun. The Book Parade was a beautiful way to bring our school community together, and we appreciated the parents who joined in on the fun. It was a memorable experience seeing our peers proudly showcase their favourite book characters.
The SRC would like to thank you for all the hard work and effort you and the staff put into making Book Week such a magical and inspiring event at KPS. We are already looking forward to Book Week in 2025!
Week 8 Upcoming Newsletter Banner Competition
We’re excited to announce a new Newsletter Banner Design Competition, as our current banner, created in 2021, is ready for an update! 😊
Here’s what we’re looking for in your designs:
- Include the text “Fly High Fortnightly.”
- Design should be in landscape format, ideally half the size of A4 paper.
- Incorporate our school colours.
The competition will be held with Ms. Brooke, Eda and Isabella on Wednesdays during Play 2 in the Art Room.
We can’t wait to see your creative designs!
