St Joseph's Feast Day & Building Opening 

On Thursday we celebrate the Feast Day of St Joseph with mass at 9am as well as a very special occasion at 10:30am blessing and marking the official grand opening of the Junior Learning Centre area. A very sincere thank you goes to previous principal Carly Avery for her work to make this happen over a number of years. The building will long reflect a shared commitment from educators, families, leaders, and our wider community to create the very best conditions for learning. Our students deserve nothing less. 

NAPLAN

Well done to the Year 3 and 5 students who completed the NAPLAN assessment over the past several days. This is only one part of a broader assessment program, but NAPLAN provides valuable insight into your child’s progress and helps teachers identify areas where additional support or extension may be beneficial. Reports will be shared with families once available.

Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival Easter Parade 

It’s time to get hopping! Our school is entering a float in the Beechworth Golden Horseshoes Festival Easter Parade on Easter Saturday (4th April) at 2:00pm, and we need your enthusiasm to make it the best one yet! Students have been creating garden inspired props and costumes to make our float a beautiful floral display. 

For Students: 

• Costume: Students need to dress in as much colour as possible. The brighter, the better! • Props: Students will be given bubbles to dance with, and easter eggs to hand out to the audience. 

For Caregivers and Teachers: 

• Costume: Parents, caregivers, and teachers will dress as gardeners. Please bring along your favourite watering can.

• Supervision: An adult must be at Town Hall Gardens (corner of Ford Street and William Street) to pick up students upon completion of the parade.
