NEXT OHS MEETING: Wed 1st APRIL 2026!

The OH&S Committee meets twice per term. The composition includes the elected HSR and Deputy HSR, representatives from each sub-school, a rep from Admin/Therapy, the Principal, Assistant Principals and the OH&S Manager Nominee.  

FIRST AID OFFICERS 2026

Thank you to our staff that participated in our annual First Aid Training.  Please see attached First Aid Poster. Thank you to Nikki D who will be distributing the new posters (and removing the previous posters) around the school.

Assess risks with the Risk Register document

A Risk Register is the school’s central document used to identify hazards, assess risks, record control measures, and monitor safety over time. It supports a proactive approach to managing risks and ensuring a safe environment for all.

When completing a risk register, risks are typically considered across three key underpinning areas: people, equipment, and the environment. This ensures that potential hazards related to human behaviour, the use and condition of equipment, and the physical surroundings are systematically reviewed and addressed.

Regularly review safety practices to reduce the likelihood of incidents and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
