We have had a lovely first week back in our class. The children have been calm and they have shown positivity with their work. 

In Literacy we have enjoyed reading our story about Edward the Emu. We have been discussing how the character's feelings change throughout the story and in out writing we have been learning how to use conjunctions (joining words) to join words and sentences together. 

In Maths we have been learning how to find a fraction of an amount and we have moved through halves, quarters and even finding an eighth!

We have lots to look forward to in the coming weeks and it looks like a fun term ahead!
